The story is about a father's love for his children and how money drives the children to selfishness. Dhaniram distributes his property equally among his children only to find himself all alone. His twin brother, Maniram along with his lawyer, Batliwala come to his aid and convince him to remarry, making his young wife Bharati his beneficiary.

Giving in to the demands of his children, namely: Govindram, Rohit, Aarti, and his daughter-in-law, Sunita, Dhaniram (Kader Khan) distributes his wealth between the four of them. Rohit prefers not to participate in this, and remains devoted to his dad. Greed overtakes, Govind, Aarti, and Govind's wife, and they become arrogant, and ill-mannered. Even his daughter gets married without his consent to Shashi (Shashikiran). Dhaniram and his lawyer Batliwala (Anupam Kher) contact Dhaniram's twin brother Maniram, and together they get Dhaniram married to Bharati (Swapna), who is much younger than Dhaniram. Thus the beneficiary of Dhaniram estate is now changed to Bharati, and it remains to be seen whether this will have an impact on Dhaniram, Maniram, Govind, Rohit, Aarti, Snita, Shashim and others.

The story revolves around 4 people named Shivin, Gauri, Ahan, and Kia. Gauri is a lower class girl who has a passion for education, while Shivin, Ahan, and Kia are rich kids of business parents. Shivin and Ahan were best friends until a series of miscommunication caused Ahan to get angry on Shivin, although it was never his fault. This causes Shivin to get angry on his mother thinking it is her fault, but the truth is she is also innocent. Gauri bumps into Ahan a few times, so they start to lightly recognize each other. On the other hand, Gauri and Shivin meets through some misunderstandings which causes Gauri to have a bad image of Shivin, but in reality, Shivin is a very down-to-earth guy who cares for people. The misunderstanding is soon sorted out when Shivin saves Gauri from goons and shelters her for a while in his house.

A comic tale of a poet and his fan both in love with each other and relentless efforts by his would be father in law to not let them marry each other. Instead, he wants his daughter to be married to the poet's friend.

Seenu (Nitin) is a new admit into a college. Nandini (Neha) goes to the same college. Seenu is from a middle class family and Nandini is a rich girl. Nandini is the only daughter of Gowri Shankar (Prakash Raj), who is a land mafia don. Gowri Shankar suspects them to be lovers after he finds them dancing for freshers celebration at college. Seenu gets beaten up. Irritated by this, Seenu challenges about winning the love of Nandini. After several attempts, she falls in love with him. They elope and get married when Gowri Shankar tries to separate them. The story takes several turns before the movie ends in a happy note.
